The major differences between the V1 and V2 platform is that V1 uses an edge connector instead of castellated edge pins, and V1 does not support selectable sampling rates (sampling rate is fixed at 48kHz).
The Cabintech CT3680 V1 is a highly flexible delay module designed to support many different types of delay-based effects. This small module can be configured as 1, 2, 3, or 4 independent delay lines with delay times up to 682ms. With simple analog line-level inputs and outputs this device is similar to traditional BBD delays but with fewer limitations, much better performance, and many more configurable options. The CT3680 is designed to serve as the core delay engine for analog-based effects where feedback paths, filters, mixing, and modulation are provided by external analog circuits.
The CT3680 greatly simplifies the design of delay based effects by removing the need for extensive filtering, compression, expansion, and other noise reduction techniques often required in BBD designs. The high fidelity of the CT3680 makes it possible to create high quality effects that focus on sonic design without compromise and use long delay times without introducing aliasing distortion. The ability to configure multiple independent delay lines and delay lines with multiple tap points provides opportunities for new complex and rich delay effects.
For effects developers familiar with traditional BBDs, the CT3680 provides emulation of all current-production BBDs and many BBD chips long since discontinued. Effects design is similar to BBD circuit design but with more flexibility, capability, and much higher fidelity especially at longer delay times.

The CT3680 V1 development board provides a platform for prototyping and development of CT3680 V1 based effects. The board supports all features of the CT3680 V1 with switches, potentiometers, and 2.5mm jacks for all inputs and outputs of the CT3680. This allows for operation of all features of the device with no external circuitry. All on-board controls can be disabled and made available on header pins for off-board operation of program selection, option settings, control voltages, and multi-module linking.
This adapter converts the CT3280 V1 into a 40-pin through hole device suitable for use in breadboarding or through-hole PCB designs.
This low profile adapter converts the CT3680 V1 into a 40-pin through hole device for through-hole PCB designs. The right-angle design minimizes vertical space requirements and minimizes required PCB area. PCB area under the CT3280 module can be used for PCB components up to 8.0mm in height.
