This CEfx Eurorack power adapter is designed to transfer power from a standard Eurorack power supply
system to a CEfx breadboard, stripboard, or perfboard setup. This adapter allows you to use
an existing Eurorack supply with your CEfx modules. An optional +5V
onboard regulator will supply +5V if your Eurorack supply does not have it.
Includes a 12 inch (30cm) standard 16-pin ribbon Eurorack power cable with keyed connectors.

Easily and reliably power your CEfx projects from a standard Eurorack power supply
By default the +5V regulator is disabled assuming your
Eurorack supplies the +5V. To enable the onboard +5V regulator you must install the "5VEN"
jumper next to U4. Only install this jumper if your Eurorack supply does not have +5V. If you
install the jumper with a Eurorack supply that has its own +5V you risk damaging the Eurorack power
supply and all of the CEfx modules plugged into the breadboard.
The ribbon cable socket is keyed with pin 1 at the -12V end as is standard with
most modern Eurorack power supplies. We supply a ribbon cable that is keyed the same way. If using
your own cables make sure they are keyed correctly. Ignore "red stripes" and any other markings -
verify that pin 1 is -12V before plugging in.
Always make sure the Eurorack power is turned off when installing or removing CEfx modules.
