This kit provides all the parts needed to use an SOIC 16 pin (or less) surface mount device on a PCB designed for DIL-16 packages. The adapter card supports both 1.27mm pin spacing, and 0.65mm pin spacing on the reverse side. The kit includes 16 header pins and 1 adapter board. Unlike many common adapter boards, this adapter converts to standard DIL-16 pin spacing (0.1in, 2.54mm) and row spacing (0.3in, 7.62mm) for an exact fit of DIL applications. This adapter can be used for any SOIC devices of 16 pins or less.
